WWE 2K15 Review!

As my first blog, I thought it would be a good idea to review WWE 2K15. Easily one of my favourite games year in year out, not forgetting to mention that this year it's even better!

If you're a regular WWE fan, you'll know that once the new WWE video game is released, some features are occasionally out of date already. However, this year WWE's team up with 2K Games once again has been a huge success already and has shown this by adding further/more advanced superstar editing features. As soon as the game was released this Winter (November 2014), I had noticed once I had played as Dean Ambrose he still wore his Shield attire as well as his Shield entrance music. The same applied for Seth Rollins, however, this new feature showed me just how realistic the game is this year, as I was able to edit both of their entrances and attires up to date.

Also, if you're waiting until Christmas to play WWE 2K15, you'll be pleased to here that 2K's new 'showcase' feature relives rivalries from the past! Without further DLC, this includes the CM Punk Vs John Cena 2011 storyline, as well as the Triple H Vs Shawn Michaels rivalry back in 2002. Without revealing too much, this game feature unlocks many additional items to use on the game. This includes: unlockable superstars, retro attires, managers, arenas and retro championship belts. In my opinion, after completing both stories this feature is my favourite ever of any WWE video game and is a MUST for the future!

After completing 2K's 'showcase' feature, I began competing in 'My Career'. This game mode is more challenging than 'showcase' and I had realised this when my superstar had started off at 55 overall! After getting to overall 59, I was able to challenge more experienced and well known superstars after getting given a contact to sign to NXT. Additional features to this mode, including 'social network followers' gave a more realistic and relatable feel to the game mode. This mode also unlocks additional items to use on the game, similar to 'showcase'.

Further game modes are included as they are every year, including 'play mode' and 'WWE Universe' which most of us are familiar with. Not forgetting to mention how amazing the graphics are, I noticed how improved the game has looked since I moved from Xbox 360 to PS4.

I hope this post has persuaded you to get WWE 2K15, the game is well and truly great and I have enjoyed every feature so far.
